The View

The first day of March, 2015. Potters Marsh Boardwalk.

“The most beautiful view is the one I share with you.” ~Author Unknown

Remember my cellphone/camera issues from previous days? Yeah, we are back there again. Cleaning out the gallery of a zillion photos from my old Samsung G2 some how broke the camera. I tried using a micro-sd card to save photos to but none the less, I was only left with a broken picture icon.

We just replaced my sweets Moto X that I got him for Christmas, with an Iphone 4s because the screen shattered at work. Sometimes working heavy machinery can cause that to happen. My needs for a new cellphone are on the back burner, so recycled photos for posts again. It doesn’t help that I really am holding out for some great deal like on a Samsung Note 3 or 4…..

Too Much Sass

Closeup of a bouquet of flowers at the market. First week of March, 2015

Tired and cranky.  On day 6 of work, with another early day of work tomorrow. I’m usually up at 3 am.  I like getting off work early so there are no true complaints there. Yesterday, I started to crash midday and get really tired. Droopy eyelids and nasty attitude quickly followed.  I took a nap, and went to bed at a decent time last night but this morning there it still was.  A quick tree meditation with my branches reaching towards the sky and my roots running through the ground, quickly cleared my mind.  The sun shone in my face and I felt a breeze, I envisioned blossoms on my branches and saw a bird in a nest.  While outside, it’s 5 degrees. I’m going to do my best to enjoy the gift of today. Blessings friends. xo

The Big News

My Daughter, bought me a round trip ticket to California for my birthday! I am going to meet my Grandchildren for the first time, and see her in person (we Skype) for the first time in nearly a decade! The absolute best birthday gift I could hope for but, I’m also so nervous! I will be flying with out my sweet and even tho it’s only a 4 and a 1/2 day trip with flights included, I will miss his companionship very much. The trip will occur the first week of April 🙂

“Every day brings a choice: to practice stress or to practice peace.” ~Joan Borysenko

I’m trying to practice peace, some people enjoy stress and or drama in the workplace. This girl doesn’t. Peace over stress today, please! Come on Universe, help a gal out!

I read somewhere that the less time you have for meditation, the more you need it.  Or, something to that effect. Last night in bed, I did a quick reading with my “Ask Your Guides” oracle deck by Sonia Choquette (it’s a personal favorite.)  My guides quickly reminded me that I have strayed from the path that brings me the most fulfillment, that I am too critical of myself and that to return to the path that brings me the most happiness, I only need to listen to my higher self. This will be my focus once again.  And the truth is, I really do need to meditate more. Peace & Protection friends.
