Forget Perfect

White & pink lily? I’m not sure of the name. Soft filter applied, just for that dreamier affect. Mid-October, 2015.

Forget your perfect offering.
There is a crack in everything,
That’s how the light gets in.”
~Leonard Cohen

To Be Free

young canary

March 28, 2015. A young yellow canary at a local pet store. The top of his head has brown feathering that looked like a toupee to me. I remarked, he’s the Donald Trump of birds, but I suppose that would be if he weren’t rich.

“God loved the birds and invented trees.
Man loved the birds and invented cages.”
~Jacques Deval, Afin de vivre bel et bien
